King Abdulaziz Public Library (KAPL) is a public library located in al-Fouta, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Established in December 1999 as part of the King Abdulaziz Historical Center, the library features a unique architectural design and spans an area of 26,000m2. It houses special collections including the private library of George Rentz, the library of Hamza Bu Bakr, and a collection of over 7,000 rare Arab and Islamic coins. With a cataloged collection of 5,271 rare Arabic titles and an ongoing cataloging process for 3,000 more, the KAPL also possesses one of the world's rarest collections of photographs, featuring over 5,500 original images taken by renowned photographers since 1740.
